How do I register?
Online registration is the preferred method (zone4.ca) using a credit card, e-transfer or cheque. However, you can also register by email and pay by e-transfer, cash or cheque.
What is the refund policy?
We offer a full refund, with the exception of fees charged by Zone 4 or credit card companies, if cancellation is made 7 or more days in advance. If the camp is not full at the time of cancellation, we will give a full refund for cancellations made inside 7 days. Only in exceptional circumstances will refunds be given for missed days once the camp has started.
What facilities are on site?
There are washrooms, as well as bleachers to sit on. We will bring at least one shelter to give some protection from the sun at lunchtime.
Do players require shin guards?
Yes, if they are playing a game or practicing activities in which physical contact is possible. However, U6 players generally play with their own soccer ball and do not require shin guards.
Is lunchtime supervised?
Yes. All our coaches stay on site at lunchtime.
Players are allowed to go home for lunch if parents wish, but they must be collected from the field by a parent, and a coach must be informed.
What if it rains during camp?
You get wet.
Generally, we have lots of sunshine (bring sunscreen and water bottle) and endure the occasional rain shower with a smile. On the rare occasion where we have prolonged rain, parents will be contacted and asked to take their child(ren) home early.
Are parents allowed to watch?
Absolutely, but please adhere to any social distancing guidelines or regulations that might be in effect. Spectators must not come onto the field.
Does wildlife pose a risk?
Most of the local wildlife prefer playing Hide and Seek or Capture the Flag. Elk have been known to wander onto the field, but they are easily dispersed by stray soccer balls.
How do I become a coach?
If you are too old to register for a camp but would still like to be involved, we often welcome back previous campers for both paid and volunteer positions. Send us an email - we would love to hear from you.
Which team will be this year's surprise World Cup qualifier?
It's too early to tell. In previous years, we have seen teams from the South Sandwich Islands, People's Democratic Republic of Norway, and Ambazonia rise out of nowhere to challenge the perpetual heavyweights on the world stage.
